I’ll give you that - but his stated reason for it is that he doesn’t believe the Supreme Court is acting as it was intended to, and instead has become a kind of extra legislative branch that gets the last word. So instead of being the control valve on government overreach, it’s become the enabler of it. I don’t know if I buy that, but I think that’s what he believes.
Of course, if another two conservatives land on the bench, I suspect Liberals will start saying the same thing - and Republicans will react to that by claiming any criticism of the court is beyond the pale. What Cruz would do in that case I don’t know.
