Well, I just set up a private game at the Gaming Club. It is a $1+0.10, which is fifty cents more that PT but it also means we pay less in rake. Private games are very easy to set up and only require a password (as far as I can tell) for entry.
Is this a good solution?
I made a withdrawl request from Pokertropolis yesterday and the money is now in my Neteller account. So that’s a good thing.
If we can’t find a low limit private tourney, we might do that. Can the private game accomodate 15 or so people? Without an increasing blind structure, the game can go on for a while, that’s the problem we ran into back on Poker Room. We’d have to open a new table with higher blinds and close the other table a few times a night.
Just FYI, I got my $16.12 back today without having to make a withdrawal request – but then, I funded my account via Neteller and that’s supposed to be one of the easiest places for Pokertropolis to deal with.
I have a suggestion: how about those of us who are interested in figuring out where we go next (as opposed to those who don’t care about being part of that process, and will play wherever we wind up) spend the next few days researching options, then “meet” on IM at 10pm (Eastern) on Thursday – regular game time – to make a decision. That should be enough time for Aholibah to hear back from PokerStars, for GO to find out more about the Gaming Club tourneys, etc.

Yeah, it’s set up to accomodate up to 50 players, 10 players per table, with increasing blinds every 12 minutes.
That sounds good to me, the 1 + .10 structure sure beats the .10 + .50.
As long as it’s similar to what we’ve had as far as play goes, I’m open to whatever you guys can find. $.50/week more to play isn’t going to break the bank I wouldn’t think.

Full Tilt private tourneys are $5 + .50 minimum. $1 is OK with me. Anybody got a bonus code for Gaming Club?
Gaming Club has refer-a-friend bonuses, so we need to cash in on these.
In the approximate 45 minutes between the time I drunkenly finished last in the weekly tournament and the time Pokertropolis blew up, I tripled my stack on a $2/$4 table. I just got the refund today.
I’m ready to sign up. Let me know the details.
…or, we could just go with Gaming Club. 
Anybody that wants to sign up on Gaming Club needs to provide an email address so an invitation may be sent to them. Both parties get a bonus, which I’m sure must be earned, so it may not amount to much in the end.
p.s. Where the heck are the results and standings?
I’ll refer some people, but the bonus needs to be earned so it isn’t great. Oslo, I don’t think anyone remembers the results.
