Who Doesn't Like Pie n Chips? - SDMB Poketroplis 3rd Quarter, 2006

That was shitty of them to not give any warning, you would have had time to transfer your stack to one of us and we could refund your bucks.

You might see if you can get on and get tech support to respond.

“Accounts funded via a ‘Player to Player’ transfer from an account originally funded by Credit Card will not have their withdrawal processed until the funding account has sent us a completed Credit Card Authorization form accompanied with the required credit card and legal identification photo copies. If your ‘Player to Player’ transfer was from an account not funded by a credit card, please complete a withdrawal request by selecting your preferred method of withdrawal.”

That link brings me to a page with sponsored links, and says the domain “may be for sale by its owner.”

Yeah, I found that on their site, but I’m pretty sure I’m not Neteller eligible to give or receive funds to a gambling site (see: legality in Maryland). And the non-Neteller options seem to have minimums or withdraw fees that are greater than what I have in the account.

C’est la vie.

I wonder if any of the .net sites offer private tourneys with play money.

Hmm, maybe I have the wrong html, because I signed up yesterday, even though I didn’t send them any money.

BTW, I am pretty sure I finfished 8th.

I finished 12th of 13. I think. I’m pretty sure I was the second one out.

Let me know if you find the right URL – Google searches on “gaming room,” “gamingroom,” and “game room” haven’t yielded anything.

I was 11th. And I haven’t run across any sites that let you run private tourneys with buy-ins of less than $5.

Try http://www.gamingclub.com

How about a site that allows player to player transfers as low as $5? A big pain in the ass, but perhaps the winners can transfer the entry fees back to the losers and we can keep this a cheap as possible. It won’t be perfect or pretty though.

It looks like this Bombshell thing goes into Hollywood, where I have an account. I guess we need to work fast and find a new site. Titan may also be a possibility.

Wow…my internet took a dump last night and I missed out on all of the confusion…until now. I have about $130 left in my account, but no way to transfer it anywhere, unless one of you guys can let me transfer it to you and then move it to another site…or something.

I don’t remember ever using Neteller to fund that site, but it has Neteller as my preferred cash out method.

Nevermind…I opened a Neteller account and made a withdrawl request from PT to send it to my new NT account…FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEee!

I guess I might want to initiate the withdrawl, it shows my funds are still there. They made it sound like they would just do the transfer, but it would probably be a good idea to get the ball rolling myself.

I tried that, but it didn’t go through, saying that the amount requested was more than was available. All I did was try to withdraw my balance. Wonder if I’ll see it again?

Now Neteller is saying my Neteller account has been closed. This can’t be good.

I don’t remember what the deal was with PokerStars, but I’ve sent an email to support asking how we’d set up a private tournament there and what the lowest buy-in would be. I’m happy to be part of the scramble to find a new home in time for next week, even though my attendance has been somewhat worse than spotty lately.

Hey kids, don’t try to log on to Neteller from a different computer (or maybe it’s the IP address) than the one you usually use. That makes them suspicious and they close the account. I guess that’s good to know. Anyway, it’s fixed now.
