And since the last game of the quarter is this Thursday, I thought it would be nice to do a simple calculation for players wondering if they can catch Lamar.
Where:
DNP means that Lamar Does Not Play
xK means the # of kills that Lamar does IF he plays this last game of the quarter.
The corresponding numbers for each player means the number of kills needed if Lamar makes xK kills in the game.
’ * ’ means the number of kills needed is 10 or more and really not worth mentioning.
‘=’ means the player cannot qualify no matter how many kills they get. In other words, not enough games played.
Capa and Aholi can be the sneaky backdoor MF’rs if they show up (which gives them the 3 game qualifier) and wail on the competition…Nook and OMD also have a good shot if Lamar shows up to play, while GO and Nesta have a longer shot, but still have proven in the past that they are capable of pulling this off if they play the rudest and grimest of all players. I’m not playing tonight either, FWIW: I’ve been on a 4-month losing streak – both in our games and in my real-world Friday tournaments – and am starting to get a little tilt-y. So I’m taking (at least) a week off from poker. :eek:
