Not any of the good albums, no. I think Victorious City was released a year or so after Extremities, Dirt, and Various Repressed Emotions (which is one of KJ’s best, IMHO - and if you want to know what it sounds like look no further than the title), but they are like night and day. Ultimately, I think Victorious City is an Anne Dudley album with some input by Jaz Coleman, because her fingerprints are all over the damn thing. So instead of looking into Killing Joke you should probably go for Dudley’s solo stuff instead (if you haven’t already).
Counting official & unofficial releases:[ul][li]Charles Mingus: 15[/li][li]Stevie Ray Vaughan: 14[/li][li]Led Zepplin: 12[/li][li]Tom Waits: 12[/li][li]Pink Floyd: 9[/li][li]Radiohead: 8[/li][li]Duke Ellington: 7 (yes, I know this is woefully inadequate but I plan on breaking in to the double digits by the end of the summer)[/li][/ul][slight hijack]
A couple of people have mentioned CD databases. I’ve been looking for just such a program but the few shareware progs I’ve demoed haven’t really impressed me. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Bill Evans, hands down. Between originals and bootlegs, I have a significant chunk of his discography, on my way to collecting all of it.
Hijack:
In a weird way I am almost relieved when somebody (famous) I like dies. I almost posted this in the Stephen Jay Gould memorial thread. The thing is, their oeuvre is finished. They will never produce anything more. The sum total of their published work is finally a known number. Then their works can be collected with an end in sight.
Yes, I am slightly obsessive.
(Bill Evans died in 1980.)
Mozart, Frank Zappa, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Elvis Costello, Neil Young, Capt. Beefheart (though there are relatively fewer Beefheart albums he deserves a place on my list)
The Beatles - 9
Prince - 9
U2 - 7
Madonna - 7
Counting individual CDs in an album -
7 - Beatles
9 - Bach (includes W. Carlos and the Swingle singers)
12 - Dr. Demento collections
But my big winner is non-music - Stan Freberg. 15, which includes 2 fan CDs of unreleased material.

I’ll be rather odd, and say I’ve got about four CDs by Mannheim Steamroller. Nothing else even breaches the “two” mark. I’m not a big music collector.
Jethro Tull is probably the top populator of my collection (roughly 25), with Neil Young, RUSH, ELP, and Michael Hedges close behind in roughly that order. The only one that I can think of off the top of my head that I have every disc by (to the best of my knowledge) is Steve Tibbetts. New one coming out this summer. Can hardly wait.
I’ve got about 45 Julian Cope CDs. He’s far and away the leader… next up is Saint Etienne with 17 and Moose with 14, not even close! If I really wanted to top Julian, I suppose I could start madly buying Fall CDs… Mark E. Smith could give Frank Zappa a run for his money in terms of output!
You have eleven Band of Holy Joy CDs? I… I don’t know what to say.
Just like Lawrence planned from the start!

Some interesting new names there and I really should reacquaint myself with Zappa.

- Rolling Stones
- Beatles
- ZZ Top
- Pink Floyd
- Rush
- Emmerson, Lake & Palmer
- The Who
- Nirvana
- Bowie
