Now that I work with a German, I have to stop myself referring to news stories over there in Europe 
15 minutes to lunch.
I’m awake. It’s not really all that early here but it’s earlier than I usually get up. I can’t sleep and I need coffee (which certainly won’t help the whole not sleeping situation).
The time in the US Midwest is a little after 7AM. I’ve been awake since…sometime yesterday night, and expect to remain awake for at least 12 hours yet. No drugs of any sort are involved. Not even a cup of tea. I’d get drunk, but that just makes me run around.

Awake? Sure. Well, officially. I guess. I mean, my eyes are open, and my fingers are moving, and I respond to basic vocal commands and/or instructions, but mentally I’m operating on a whole different plane right now. Working until 9 or 10 pm for two weeks straight is slowly getting to me…
