I might be a bit too sympathetic today, but I kind of have this ignorant little thought I’ve been chewing on that you brought back to mind. I think in our society women are over-sexualized, just flooded with attention and sex sex sex. What do men get? Not so much. Maybe that’s why the sex talk and dick pics and masturbation threads. We’re starving them. (Just my opinion.) It seems to me this shit is only natural.
I bet you’d just make a man’s day responding to the next dick pic all like, “Damn, that’s a sexy dick.” He’d be stunned.
You mean, respond that way to an unsolicited dick pic from someone you don’t know well? That’s usually the problem I hear complaints about- it getting… Ummm… Introduced unexpectedly.
It’s nasty, stalkerish and misogynist behaviour. My 18yo has been getting dic-pix since junior high. Someone’s parents are not watching and teaching young men how to act on-line. I am really sick of people saying ‘boys will be boys’. It’s bad behaviour, plain and simple! Boys like this turn into Anthony Wiener and Donald Trump. Mothers watch your boys on-line presence.
If you are a man who is sending dick pics and NOT getting that kind of response, consider that the problem is not with the recipients, but rather perhaps with your behavior.
I wish I could eavesdrop on the mental processes of guys who send those, just to satisfy my own curiosity:
• “This is so gonna turn her on like crazy”
• “Heh heh, this will freak her shit out”
• “I need to make sure she realizes I have the relevant equipment; the dating world is so rife with transgender men who haven’t had The Operation, and she’s probably worried about that”
• “I want to make her happy. I don’t know how to make her happy. Hmm, they say do unto others as you’d have them do unto you. I wish she’s send me her gyno exam pix!”
• “I want to make her happy. The only thing I know about happy is this thing, which makes me happy”
•“Yo babe, this is a threat, OK? You see this awesome weapon? It’s coming for you (so to speak). I want you to have nightmares about this. I might be in your closet at this very moment”
I feel like dick pics have to be some generational watershed. I am technically a “millennial,” even though that term never existed until after I was an adult. I feel like the younger ones are happy to share their pics, while my generation is more paranoid about getting made fun of, and thinking that nobody finds the male member attractive.
This is the closest to what I’ve always assumed. “I would like it if a hot girl sent me pictures of her private parts, so I’ll send her mine.” I’ve seen all the porn that seems to focus on extreme closeups. Or the fantasies that just involve nudity.
I have also stumbled on a recording of one camwhore who wanted everyone to skype her while masturbating to her. She seemed quite sincere and getting off on it. So maybe there are a few who do like it.
