Who have you been most happy to meet?

This is a two parter question.

The first part is who (can be many people) in SDMB have you been happy to meet?
For me it is as follows in no particular order:
DrMatrix and CajunMan (They are both great)
Falcon (just because she is fun to be around)
OpalCat and UndeadDude (there is history with those two)
Satan and Drainbead (Satan and I have a lot of old school music in common that I used to listen to)
JohnCorrado (he is genuinely funny)
RTFirefly (one of the nicest people I have ever met)
Polycarp and Wifie (is she SDMB’s Skulldigger?) (Love ya man)
Aenea (another genuinely funny person. She reminds me of my eldest sister)
Cabbage (interesting…very interesting… heheheh)
Silo (interesting to see a mostly reformed troll) :wink:
And the others but I am a little brain dead right now. I was traumatized afterall recently. I am sorry that I left you out Geobabe (sorry I was tired then and don’t remember a lot of the people I met back in DC…Bluepony, etc…DC and I were falling asleep.)

Of the people above, I really like Cajun Man and DrMatrix. I talk to them semi-regularly. They really are quite nice people and it seems we have more in common than simply being gay.

The second part is who (only one person) in the mundane world have you been most happy to meet. (SO’s, not included)
Mine would bemy friend Jimmie who currently lives in Louisville, KY. He was my best friend from 13 or so on (I still consider him my best friend even though we only talk about once a year now). He was the first person I could talk to easily and the first straight person I came completely out to that didn’t completely freak out. If you ever come in here Jimmie, I love ya man and I know it is mutual. :slight_smile:

Unfortunately I have never met anyone from the SDMB although I would like to someday.

In the mundane world I have been happiest to meet my friend Terrance (since I can’t choose my SO:( ) I have known Terrance for almost 8 years now and we are the best of friends. Lots of people think that we’ve slept together, dated, etc. but our relationship is strictly platonic. We talk about anything and everything. No topic is off limits. He’s my best friend (aside from my SO) and I’m very grateful he is in my life.

If anyone gets together a Columbus dopefest, I will actually be able to meet some of you.

Damn, I just wrote out a page about the people I’ve met and would like to and realized how many people I was excluding. Let’s just say I’ve dug everyone I’ve met and would love to meet the rest of you.

I’ve never met any of you and was never that impressed with meeting anybody else, but I have a cold and am feeling pretty jaded right now.
