who here has had a WUNDERBAR?

That evil candy thread made me think about Wunderbar’s (a slice of REAL cheescake on a stick, dipped in high grade chocolate) and now I must go buy them to satisfy this craving, but since the last place I could get them closed I must now drive to the wholesaler and buy them a case (12) at a time and having a dozen Wunderbars in your freezer is NOT a good thing as they are too good (and you can get the cherry cheesecake ones too).

Had one of these this afternoon. Never had a cheesecake one, but I have Nestlé Cherry Cheesecake ice cream in the freezer, maybe I can build one with Canadian parts?

I predict that I won’t be the first person who opens this who misread the title as Wonderbra.

Haj

Actually I read the title correctly as Wunderbar but I thought that the poster had misspelled it and really meant Wonderbra.

My dad once had a crowbar named the Wonderbar. It was pretty good.

I had that same crowbar. It sucked. It snapped in half. I was lucky not to be seriously injured.

Kindersurprise is good.

No, I just was wondering what the hell a Wunderbar was.

Actually, I was wondering if it was referring to the mall-chain German bierhaus.

Oh, my GOD. The Wunderbar is one of my favourite Canadian chocolate bars.

I’m sad now.

unclvinny in a wonderbra is a sight you don’t want to see. Trust me

I’m confused. We have Wonderbar in Canada but there is no cheesecake involved, it’s cookie and caramel, I think … mmm …

although the cheesecake one sounds divine. Don’t know if I’d trade it for Coffee Crisp, tho.

Yes, we do have them … and I’m eating one right now! The thread title made me crave one, so I toddled off to the cafeteria next door. [nitpick] It’s actually peanut butter and caramel, with crispy bits to make it interesting. [/nitpick]

Yes, that cheesecake thing sounds really good. More information about it, who makes it, where (ie which states/countries) it’s sold, etc. would be appreciated. But I’m sure I don’t stand a chance of ever seeing one, since I’m in Canada.

Funny comment about the Coffee Crisp - I accidently picked up a Coffee Crisp when I reached for the Wunderbar …

I too, thought it was a poll on who had a pocket crowbar.

As to the chocolate-dipped cheescake, at Faire, we call that Sin on a Stick.

You won’t believe who actually makes the WunderBar. (Note the intercap)

Vienna Beef of Chicago is vastly more known for hot dogs, but they also make the WunderBar.

About 10 years ago a friend and I came up with a concoction we called the Wonderbar. It was conceived because I kept saying “Spam ist wunderbar!” in a silly German accent. Somehow we made the leap from that phrase to a fictional candy bar called the Wonderbar. It was basically an exercise in “what’s the most revolting food product we can think of?” Take a slab of Spam, microwave it, coat it with unsweetened chocolate, and put a big cake-frosting W on the top. You now have a Wonderbar. We actually got several people to try it, knowing full well what it was. Yum! They all nearly puked.

Canadian Wunderbar’s kick-ass!

Man are they good…

Oh yea 200 posts baby!
