Who invented Truth or Dare?

Doesn’t it make you wonder, cuz someone had to have come up with the idea, but who?

My guess is that it was some horny bastard.

How do you actually play truth or dare?

It’s a game for young teenagers in a group, with no adult supervision. It’s taken in turns, with the person who’s turn it just was to pick someone and ask “Truth, or Dare?” If they pick truth, they have to answer a question “Truthfully” like “Have you ever kissed your Mom on the Lips?” or “Do you think Cindy is hot?”, etc. If they pick dare, the questioner comes up with a dare, often involving kissing someone else in the group, exposing a body part.

That’s the Jist of it, though I’m sure there are regional variations.

So is it a double-dare thing? What if you don’t do it?

You’re out of the game, and everyone laughs at you for being a Wuss.

Unless, of course, the majority of the people in the game agree that the dare is unreasonably dangerous or out of line.

“I dare you to jump off of the Sears Tower.”

“No way”, “Yeah, Right”, “Get real”

Eve invented it.

I’m pretty sure it was Madonna, back in '91.

No, she simply repopularized it.

Too bad it’s a fad that didn’t catch on. :frowning: Although realistically, why would anyone want to enter a legal relationship with more than one person? Especially in a community property state?
