It depends. My brother and I have different dads and in both cases mom was the better looking one. I look more like our mom, and he looks more like his dad. But in both cases, we got mom’s features and our dad’s builds. In my brother’s case, his dad is a sad, graying old man with alcohol troubles, heart issues and a growing waistline. In my case, my dad is an amateur bodybuilder and won Mr. Alabama for his age divison a few years ago. I’m the smart one, too.
He takes after my mother’s side of the family, while I’m more my father’s son. Despite the fact that the difference in our heights is less than half an inch, we could hardly be more different. I’m stocky and much more heavily muscled than him, but with the extra fat I’m carrying, it totally doesn’t sit well on me. He is somewhat lightly built through the chest and shoulders with a little bit extra around the waist (although less than me), and yet he always looks better. Even his faster receding hairline has worked for him since he started shaving his head!
Somehow, I got the double dose of ugly instead of it being shared out. He should be thankful to me!
I would say my sisters are prettier. They are all thinner, and the youngest is also the tallest of all of us, with a dancer’s body - she hasn’t gained weight as she gets older, which I attribute to her being a vegetarian.
On the other hand, I’m the only one to have large breasts. They envy me for that. Plus I’m the smartest. See, it all evens out.
As for my brother and I, I guess it sort of depends. Using the female comparison I guess it would be whether or not you preferred Suicide Girls, or “regualr” girls. I am very plain, medium height, brown eyes and no real distinct fashion attire. My brother is taller, dark hair (which he never washes), always looks like he needs to shave, but has a fun “cool art student” sort of look to him. I’m just the lab geek.
And just what would be the fun in that?!
I’m the one in the first picture posing with my little brother. He is the pinnacle of cuteness, in my slightly biased opinion. He also maintains an 8-pack and ridiculously large biceps with a steady regimen of Halo 3 and Pop-tarts. The second picture is my older sister, who is a size 2 with double D’s. She also has gorgeous naturally curly hair, which she of course straightens.
What makes my brother better than us: He has charisma out the ass. Everyone adores this kid.
What makes my sister better than us: She is a veritable saint. By far the most good-hearted, selfless person I’ve ever known.
What makes me better than them: I’m the smartest by a landslide.
I’m in the middle, with the makeup on, lol. I can’t say that any one of us beats the other in looks. My sister is 13 years younger than me, and I can’t compare either of us to the boys. IMO, we all hit the genetic lottery in the looks department.
Here is a pic of me , a pic of little brother with my two kids, and one of us together with the rest of the family (I’m the chick under 60, he’s the tall guy standing on the right). The Army hair-do doesn’t help him much…
Truly, I think he’s cute, but I think I’m cuter (and I look better in a bathing suit).
You know, after reading some of the responses in this thread, I have the real urge to say that while my brothers might be better looking than me, I do have better breasts. Neither of them will ever look as good in an evening dress as I do, and I will never have five o’clock shadow at noon.
Aloha shirts are the formal wear of the men in my family, unless we’re at the Ritz or something. The one on my dad & the kids is a custom design by Reyn Spooner, for our city’s 100th birthday.
