Who is Melania Trump's graffiti jacket aimed at? "I really don't care. Do U"

Mrs Trump, when boarding her plane heading to visit Texas to visit to a children’s detention center, wore a jacket that said “I really don’t care. Do U?” across the back. She didn’t wear it while visiting the kids, but she was wearing it again when she returned to DC. So who was she talking to?

She’s not a dumb lady. She knows that people pay attention to what she wears. I’m having a hard time believing that she is commenting on the immigrant child separation issue. I can only hope she’s commenting on her relationship with her husband.

So what are your feelings? What doesn’t the first lady care about, enough to make a public statement about it?

I’m guessing she wore it to provoke reactions — some profane, some wishing harm on her, and so on — in hopes of sparking reactions to the reactions, so people can talk all about (a) how mean all those folks saying that stuff are; and (b) how the family of the President should be off-limits, that’s way out of line; and © here we are trying to actually solve the problem, and haters are talking about what she wore?

Figure that’s the plan.

If her jacket was commenting about her relationship with her husband, why the “Do U”? Is she asking whether we have romantic feelings for her Trump?

All I can say is, thank God she was wearing sleeves!!

DJT says it’s for the fake news people. How stupid. This just galls me. Will this nightmare ever end?

No, I don’t really care either. About you that is.

As an experienced model, she just didn’t throw this on.

My theory is her husband insisted she wear it. The other theory is that she’s as horrible as he is. Really, those are the only two options as to why a billionaires wife and international model decided to wear a $40 jacket.

When I saw this on a clickbait, I wondered if it was a false-flag operation – a Trump detractor photoshopping such sentiments on his wife’s photos, fighting fake news with fake news.

It was a relief to learn that it was authentic fake news from the Trump camp.

God’s in his heaven…

A Birther doesn’t care about brown people? SAY IT AIN’T SO!

It clearly means covfefe.

She was probably directing a comment at the lame stream media types who rabidly report on everything, and anything, Trump. She doesn’t care what the LSM has to say. She’s still going to live her life according to her standards, and not theirs. SSDD.

Yes, how dare the media think that the President of the United States is newsworthy. They should just stick to real news, like killer pandas.

You know, even if she didn’t mean anything by the message- which seems unlikely- can I just say that it’s kind of a low-class jacket for the First Lady of the United States to wear? I mean, I’m sure it was really expensive, but so were the outfits on The Jersey Shore.

But Obama wore a tan suit once! It was tan!!!1!

I’m no fan of Mrs Trump, but let me defend her here. There’s no way she’s stupid enough to use the term “lame stream media.”

I read somewhere that it cost $40.

I’m sure we’ll see lots of them at the next thump rally.

The excuse that it was aimed at the media was contrived AFTER the jacket raised eyebrows. From CNN:

I realize Melania Trump isn’t the brightest bulb in the box, but it doesn’t take much intelligence to see how this was, at best, in very poor taste.

Option #3 The Jacket maker paid her big bucks and she is too clueless/greedy to care otherwise.

She wore the jacket knowing the press would take pictures of her. In context, she’s saying that she doesn’t care about the people she just visited (or the related issues). The message is more for Trump’s base than anyone else, IMO, but I’d wager no one minds that the detainees get the message too. Oh, and it’s a nice, quiet deniable way to give a middle finger to the people who do care.

These jackasses have passive/aggressive in their DNA.

The office of the First Lady says that the jacket was not intended to convey a message; it was just a jacket.

But now the President tells us that there was a message.

So is the President telling us that what comes out of the office of the First Lady is not to be believed? Is, in fact, fake news?
