Not me! Vegetarian! I had an awesome yummy feast nonetheless.
So, I’m rushing to make my sweet potato pie and realize I hadn’t added the eggs yet. I used the last of one carton and grabbed another from another carton. The last egg I broke into my bowl was bad, very bad.
Had to toss everything, ventilate the kitchen to get rid of that awful smell, and start over.
(Our hens have stopped laying for the season. The very bad egg was from a friend who has her hens under fluorescents. I assume the very bad egg was one that got lost in the nest, then found months later)
Prime rib roast. With smashed potatoes and gravy.
My wife doesn’t want to slave in the kitchen all day cooking a Turkey, and doesn’t like all the cleanup either, so for the last several years we’ve grilled out steaks. Everyone who has attended has love it! It was great again this year.
