What is interesting to me here is that most of those nominated can be identified partially by their honesty. Obama, Will Smith, Stephen Fry, Meryl Streep (who is on my list, too) don’t pull punches about their lives in general and they all have the ability to laugh at themselves. You feel like, if they were your neighbor, you’d have no problem asking them for the loan of a gardening tool or for their help for a task that just needs an extra pair of hands.
Now that Christopher Lee has died, I’m going to go with Bruce Dickinson.

Speaking of posthumous nominees, there are several from the news media: Gwen Ifill of PBS and CNBC’s Mark Haynes. Of course, along with David Brinkley.
I still think it’s me.
Gwen Ifill could be seen as cool, for sure. But I just think of her as badass.
Greta Thunberg is cool enough to know that women don’t have to smile on demand to please other people.
She was a work acquaintance/friend of Mrs. Charming and Rested. She was both cool and badass. She is also sorely missed.
I read somewhere that Jack Black is what you get when you set your D&D character to max out on charisma and pretty much be subpar on all the other attributes.
