Who is the Most Famous Person Who Shares Your Initials...

Interesting question, but I really can’t think of any famous CPs. :frowning:

Maybe someone else can help.

There’s always pro wrestler Chuck Palumbo.

Rip Van Winkle?

Also for CV - pro basketball player Chris Paul.

I can’t think of any famous DE’s without googling.

We can’t just ignore that W! I don’t think it’d work. Plus if we’re doing middle names then its even harder: RHV.

Wow, this one’s a winner for me, particularly since he’s a spokesman for the Professional Bowler’s Tour, of which I am a fan. Same first name, even!

I will rest easy tonight now.

Ronnie VanZant former lead singer for Lynard Skynyrd.

I mentally went through all of the Van / Von… surnames. Didn’t think Rip VanWinkel could really count.

Chuck Norris! Hah!

Bruce Lee.

Ritchie Valens? Rudolph Valentino?

For me, there’s also Thandie Newton and Ted Nugent.

Try Googling on Duke Ellington.

I always thought I should never be allowed a job with economic responsibilities seeing as I share initials with Norman Lamont and Nigel Lawson (Tory Chancellors who presided over the destruction of the UK’s economy) and Nick Leeson (the rogue trader who bought down Barings Bank).

Why not? Van is part of the surname; you wouldn’t use the W as part of his initials except as an affectation.

If you’re talking about someone with two surnames, it’s different.

Of course, since he’s a fictional character he might not be eligible under other criteria anyway.

Real name: Edward Kennedy Ellington.

You could have Donnie Edwards, NFL linebacker; Dennis Erickson, NFL/college football coach; and… that’s all I’ve got.

I think I’m winning so far, right?

Or Dwight Eisenhower.

Oy. I was thinking only first and last name. I mean there can’t be too many matches of complete monograms wherein the famous person you cite is known mainly for going by his/her full name like Haley Joel Osment or Edgar Allan Poe so first and last names only.

And for twickster, John Wayne immediately sprung to mind.

Actually, my full monogram is JMW – James McNeil Whistler.

Unless something fairly drastic has happened, I think she still is.

I thought she was saying James McNeil Whistler was her name. I didn’t realize it was that Whistler.
