[QUOTE=Antonia]
Of course! I hadn’t even considered male names, not even one so much like my own… :smack: (But isn’t he named Banderas?)

Yes, his last name means “flags” in Spanish, which is how I remember the correct spelling.
I don’t recall seeing you around before, so welcome to the SDMB! My father’s mother’s mother was named Antonia – she was born in 1882 in what is now the Czech Republic, immigrated to the USA in the first decade of the twentieth century, and lived until 1971 (when I was twelve years old).
JJJ
I cannot think of anyone famous with 3 J’s at all. With two J’s, there’s probably a few guys out there referred to as “JJ” but I can’t think of any off-hand.
John Jacob Jingleheimerschmidt
DL.

NN
Nick Nolte? I don’t feel comfortble with that.
Add in my middle initial and you get NMN.
DL - I suppose I could share it with Dennis Leary.

DW, and I’m stuck, although I know y’all will come up with half a dozen obvious choices and I’ll have to do the facesmack smiley. There’s a famous local philanthropist, Diana Wortham; there’s Dana Worthington from Batman (the name sounded familiar and I googled it; I have no idea how I knew that!). Let’s see. Dana, Diana, Dan, David, Duke, Damien, Drew, Darla, Danielle, Dick, Dizzy, Draco–I’m tapped out.
Daniel
Doctor Who
Damon Wayans.
J.L. is such a common set of initials, there are numerous candidates
John Lennon is probably the most famous, though.
