Who is your go-to example of a Stone Fox?

Ah! I just thought of one, from 20+ years ago. He was the type of person who just had that charisma, when you met him you felt you were meeting someone special who had “it”. One of those guys who makes you feel like you’re the only one in the room even though you didn’t have a chance with him, but he wasn’t mean about it. It didn’t hurt that he looked like a young Warren Beatty!

So, yeah, that guy.

Which one of him?

I was just wandering around the net and was reminded of one of the most beautiful humans ever: Myrna Loy. Ever watch “The Thin Man”? “The Best Years of Our Lives”? Great googily moogily.

All these posts and not a single mention of Christina Hendricks?

Got to be in the Top 5 All-Time!

Thirded.

Damn, can I second another one?

Can the church say amen!

So, uh… we don’t get penalized for seconding multiple nominations, do we?

I’d be willing to look past that.

Seconded.

Also, Elizabeth Mitchell.

I can carve my own foxes out of locally-sourced limestone using sculpting tools that I smelted and forged myself.

Megan Fox (in Transformers)

Selma Hayek (in From Dusk until Dawn)

Myrna Loy (in the Thin Man)

The young woman yesterday who tried on my hat. She wanted to know if it looked good on her – damn, anything would look good on her.

…or nothing?

Queen Noor.

Ji-hyun Jeon (aka Gianna Jun)

and

Marilyn Monroe

How’s that for hitting both ends of the hotness spectrum?

Francoise Hardy has one of those faces that ensures that she still looks great in her 70s

I’ve always heard it as a “stone cold fox.” And maybe it’s just me, but I generally thought it meant a woman who was taller than usual, with sharp or angular features. A lot of guys are listing girls with round faces, soft features, and big boobs. To me a stone fox would be a statuesque beauty.

Please refer to the OP for this thread’s working definition. YMMV, as usual, but it may help to explain the other posts’ positions/preferences.

Certainly not “nothing”, but a good skycladding would do the trick.

Hmm… so many beautiful people.

[Jerry Seinfeld] Have you been to the DMV? It’s a leper colony out there[/js]

I’ll have to toss my ring towards Halle Berry. She seems to project strength and confidence. And is a knockout to boot.

Either her or Raquel Welch in her prime.
