Who killed JFK?

I have two comments to make about Oliver Stone, neither one complimentary:
1)He seemed to follow, for JFK, the rationale of former New Orleans D.A. Jim Garrison, according to whom not only was there a conspiracy, but all evidence that contradicts Jim Garrison is either false or doctored by the CIA. (The Paranoids are out to get him! ;))
2) He had the chutzpah to speak before Congress on this issue; I don’t believe he did this out of any altruistic ideal but rather to gain immense publicity and generate ticket sales for his movies. (sarcasm)
In any case, Stone is a filmmaker, not a historian or investigator. I would just as soon expect archaeologists to see the Indiana Jones movies and then ask Spielberg for advice or assistance! In a pig’s eye!! The Kennedy assassination is the bailiwick of Federal (and Texas state) investigators, not filmmakers’!!

I know you’re joking, but you DO realize, don’t you, that it would’ve been a lot harder for LHO to kill JFK with a bow and arrow?

I guess an occaisional assassination is the price we all have to pay for freedom…

When all else fails, ask Cecil.

The Beatles. Don’t scoff. Pull up a chair and listen.

JFK was against the Beatles because they represented the “evil” British Empire, who, a mear 200 years ago, actually fought with us on OUR soil. He put into congress a law that would have made illegal any musician that was so popular among the young people --an obvious British plot to recruit from within. However, Elvis put the pressure on Congress, and they backed down. Then, Castro embroidered a new tea cozy for Stalin, and all hell broke loose.

In short, why the hell does my Pepsi cap have “Duke University” printed on it? Did I actually win Duke? I called them up and they mocked me. I’ll be sure to have them all fired when I’m signing the checks.
