As a sometime lurker I find that I have very little to offer to most of the debates, but I read a theory (I repeat THEORY) that the death of JFK was due to an accidental shot from a Secret Serviceman responding to the first Oswald shot.
This would explain the need to keep details confidential for 75 years.
I can’t find the theory, but it sounded interesting to me when I read it.
Anyone else know of it (or can post a link to it)?
No one killed JFK. He was killed by a mean spirited and hateful gun. The alleged gun was found and the proper ballistics were performed and it was found that the gun in question was indeed the murder of JFK, as such the gun is still and will forever remain in custody so that it may never kill again.
I know that I for one feel safer knowing that this gun is not out roaming the streets and tempting innocent folk into pulling its trigger to kill other innocent folk.
Please do not attempt to blame innocent people for deaths that were so clearly caused by evil guns.

My brother likes to concoct completely absurd theories regarding the Kennedy Assassination. The time before last, he asserted that it was Howard Hughes. Trouble is, someone published a book with exactly that theory. So now he just says it was the Amish.
According to Occam’s Razor/the principle of parsimony, of all possible explanations, the simplest explanation that covers all the facts is most likely to be the correct one. The Teeming Millions, like anyone else, would do well to approach the JFK question accordingly.
Ok , I’ll open myself up for some abuse here. Several of the films I saw many years back, mentioned that some little “no name peons”, swore that JFKs coffin, upon entering the plane in dallas, was not the same one he was in when he landed. Of course they were called everything from slow to conspiracy freaks and publicity whores. Then to find out that the SOB’s did change the coffin and dump the original in the ocean!

The Kennedy Assassination was a brilliant plot by the Bavarian Illuminati to draw attention away from themselves. With all the conspiracy theorists poring over Who Shot JFK, the Illuminati would be able to slip beneath the preoccupied conspiracy theorists’ collective radar.
And so far, it’s worked. You don’t see Oliver Stone making any movies about the Illuminati, do you?

I heard somthing about this. Supposedly, the coffin was dumped to prevent it from becoming a grisly souvenir. I’m not sure how you make a souvenir of this if it’s buried or why the coffin they subsequently put him in didn’t become a souvenir, but that’s what I heard.
