Who likes Arena Football?

So, i was checking the online TV guide to see if the Orioles were going to be shown on TV today, and i noticed that NBC is going with its usual airing of the Arena Football League game. This week the Colorado Crush take on the Arizona Rattlers.

Now, presumably some people watch this game, otherwise it wouldn’t be on TV every weekend. But, seriously, who? I find it completely uninteresting, and i’m afraid i really don’t understand what appeal it might have.

So, does anyone here watch it? Like it?

If so, what appeals to you about the game?

Just curious.

I sometimes watch, but not religiously. It satisfies my itch for proffessional sports. I never watch baseball until the playoffs or the Series, same for Basketball (thought this year I’ve only watched the Finals). There are just too many games. As a plus, some Arena league players have found their way to the NFL, they do have some impressive athletes. It also probably helps that I have a sort of local team in San Jose.

And there are always the “(Name of player)! I remember him when he was playing at (college)!” moments that are kinda fun.

I watched the last 20 seconds of the first half today. Does that count? I really don’t care about it one way or the other. This time of year, I’m first, last, and always all about baseball. I’d rather watch the O’s. Which I can next weekend! Yay!

better make sure I haven’t lost the tickets
