Why is it that Kenan is on SNL and Kel sometimes hosts a BET stand-up comedy show?
When it always seemed to me that Kel was the funnier one? Sure, it’s harder to be the funny one when your the straight man but he wasn’t even a good straight man. Too stiff and cardboardy.
P.S. Don’t judge me. Good Burger was comedy gold after a gazillion viewings of Surf Ninjas.
Oh, come now…it’s obviously a Kenan and Kel bit, even if, like me, you barely know who Kenan and Kel are, and have never seen anything they did.
I’m sad that this thread isn’t actually about orange soda (mmm, orange soda), but it’s not that hard to figure out what the thread title’s referring to…
I’d heard that Kel Mithchel is a religious man and thus would not participate in certain types of humor. I also heard that he mostly retired from comedy before Keenan Thompson was picked up.
ETA: And a quick look at his Wikipedia page indicates that both are highly unlikely. Apparently he’s on Attack of the Show now, which is a pretty dirty show.
I love orange soda. I love it because when I was a kid, every summer we would go to the same place on Tablerock Lake for our summer vacation. We would spend the afternoon at the pool, and about two hours into swimming my dad would buy a can of orange soda from the vending machine, and we’d share it, sitting on the edge of the pool with our feet dangling in the water. The juxtaposition of sweet soda and pungent chlorine, of hot concrete and cold drink, my usually austere father buying something so frivolous and sharing it with me… it was perfect.
I barely know who they are. I have never gone out of my way to watch them. I thought this thread actually was about orange soda. So, the thread title made no other sense to me.
