In the March 26, 2007 edition of the “New Yorker,” there’s an article about punk rock pants salesman Jimmy Webb. One of his customers is described thusly:
She resembles her mother, an actress. Her last name is the same as her father’s, a rock star. She looks like she’s in her early 20’s, but she goes to a progressive high school in New York’s Upper East Side. Also, she dresses in kind of a punk rock style (she wears tight jeans and a t-shirt that says “Bullshit”).
So who might she be? I don’t know much about celebrities, so I was hoping that someone might have an idea.
Does Zoe Kravitz live in New York or LA? (daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet) She’d be about 19 now, and I remember some ah, behavior issues in the news that could explain why she she might still at a “progressive” high school, if that means “dropped out of regular school.” The physical description fits her well.
I think this is the winner. The description implies biracial, Kravitz is a rocker, and Lisa Bonet is a (to borrow a line from SNL) “stay at home actress”, and I remember the same articles about behavior and her mother’s refusal to vaccinate and other oddities that would affect where she goes to school. Her pic also looks more like Lisa B than Lenny K.
Could be. High School at 19 would be progressive indeed. There are a couple pictures of Coco Sumner in blonde and brunette configurations in this thread (she has a band) but she looks more like Sting than Trudy Styler.
