I’ll have a case of them out to you in exchange! And I’m quite serious about this. PM me if you are as well. They just sound too tasty to refuse.

A quick Googling (my search fu is admittedly weak though) came up with a bunch of none for PiM’s.
sigh Hopefully ScareyFaerie is serious about this bribing business.
Hey, I think I’ve seen those in the teeny tiny Brit food section of the grocery store! Now I have to try them. I hope they’re not expired like everything else in that section I’ve wanted to try.
I am surprised that the answer to the OP is not more widely known. It is quite obviously the work of boggarts. They mean no harm, and for them it’s just mischievous and playful to swipe things away and make them seemingly disappear. It can be Jaffa Cakes or odd socks or car keys or vital bits of paper that were on your desk just two minutes ago or your passport on the morning you are supposed to go to the airport. It’s just what they do.
The bad news is that there is nothing whatever we can do about it - there is no known way to prevent boggarts from abducting our possessions in this way. Some people suggest leaving some things out specifically for the boggarts to steal, such as an extra Jaffa Cake or an intentionally not-needed sock, but boggarts are rarely diverted by such transparent ploys - it’s only fun for them to take things that matter. The good news is that they always give these things back eventually, but no-one can ever say when. Sometimes they return things within minutes, and sometimes it takes years. Sometimes they put things back where they found them, and sometimes they put them back somewhere entirely different.
