Who should I become

I have always been discreetly myself. Over the Internet I expose personal fantasies and tell personal shit that I would not tell most of my friends. I am, of course, more an anonymous face on the net.

Who should I become?

I think my alter ego should be an attractive lesbian who flirts on-line. My second option is a 15 year old boy hitting on women in adult personals.

Any other ideas. Any personal experiences in web role-play is appreciated.

Tyler Durden.

Web role-play? Save it for the bedroom. What is wrong with just writting what you want to write at the time? Let your words decide who you are.

gAwD. Or gay. Or both. Just don’t give your alternate a new SDMB SN.

I NEED DETAILS!!!

Watch Fight Club, then you’ll know.

Tyler Durden was . . . wait a second, if you haven’t seen “Fight Club” or don’t want to hear my three second, two-bit explanation then:

In fight club, Edward Norton meets Brad Pitt on an airline flight. Brad introduces himself as “Tyler Durden”, sort of an anarchist with a heart who proceeds to introduce Edward into a completely different way of living and looking at the world around him. Mind you, in the end it is revealed that Edward Norton really IS himself Tyler Durden and that Brad Pitt’s character is just a visual representation of the split personality created by Tyler’s dissatisfaction with his life. It all works out in the end.

Do you know Tyler Durden?!?

But seriously. If you desire a lifestyle here, why not pursue a different lifestyle IRL? Change yourself, become who you want to become. Don’t worry about what people think of you. Caveat: I’m not suggesting a “Do what thou wilt.” lifestyle, just something different. And fun. As one of my old friends once said:

Life…Live it!

Scuse me? There can be only one. I am it.

What’s wrong with being yourself?
