I would actually like that a bit more, it’s the two-face style that annoys me. Just say, “that’s it, we’re on” and pummell Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbolla, and Al-Aqsa martyrs brigade into the ground. It was rather amusing, actually, to watch the newscasts, where the announcer guy would say “Israel killed a terrorist” and cut to the mobs of terrorist supporters shouting “OMG, THEY’RE KILLING TERRORISTS!”

The Jews have as much of a historical claim to the area as anyone else. But hey, they can just pack up and move somewhere else, right? I’m sure that they’ll be accepted with open arms wherever they go. Especially Germany. And Russia. And all the other countries that have historically been good to Jews.

Damn. I can’t think of a single place where they can go and be safe. So I guess they’ll just have to stay where they are and fight back against the terrorist pinheads who hate them for the sole reason of being Jewish.
I wasn’t around then, but I heard that after WWII, it was kind of hard for them to go anywhere – everyone was in favor of saving them (turns out that some of them moved to Germany, where they “couldn’t be tolerated”, and some asshole was killing them) but nobody would take them in after the war.
The British had been trying to settle the dispute, and punted to the U.N., who decided that the Jews should have somewhere they could be tolerated and drew a bunch of lines on the map in 1947ish.
So the Jews have a homeland now, and they’ve defended it from conquest several times successfully. The winner of the war gets to draw the lines, and Israel is 5 for 5 – if you don’t like those rules, you’re going to have to find a new planet to play on, because that’s the way these things work.
As for whom Israel should target next – if they really want peace, they’ll make Sharon and Arafat sit down together at a table, and bomb the shit out of that table. Both of those assholes are warmongers and liars.
Exactly. If we leave them all the fuck alone and let this play itself out, or at least allow Israel to defend itself in some way other than cleaning up body parts, they may be able to live peacefully-someday.

While I have to say that in general, I am sympathetic to the plight of the Palestinians vis a vis being left homeless by some pretty fucking stupid political decisions early in the 20th century, I also feel the world would be a much better place without barbarians like Hammas. Israel has to be allowed to defend themselves from terrorism, and frankly the suicide bombers represent humanity at it’s most despicable.
