What food creations did you invent before you later saw them on the shelves created by some conglomerate? My mom created vinegar/Bay Seasoning Potato Chips long before they came on the market. Who stole your idea?
Someone stole my idea for pre-sliced bread! Darn it!
That was the best idea since… umm… since…
(at least nobody’s tried my Malibu and Milk combo yet…)
I was mixing honey and brown mustard for years before it started appearing everywhere.
I was making my own version of comfort food (pasta with butter, parmesan cheese and herbs) and thought, “I wish there was some kind of ‘pasta shake’ seasoning in a jar you could just shake over buttered noodles.” A couple years later, Kraft marketed a couple versions of this. THEIR version was crap, of course, being composed of powdered cheese and tasteless seasonings and WAY too much salt. But it was MY idea.
