Every now and then, I look up from my near constant intake of chili and cheese (and, occasionally, a Mountain Dew) and see the name “Cecil Adams” appear on the screen.
Who is this guy? Did he hit seventeen home runs at once or rub his tummy and pat his head at the same time? Or is he some political figure or an actor that I should have heard about but didn’t? (I don’t get out much, you see).
See, what you have to understand is this… I have a really bad memory (my schoolteachers always used to hit me in the… the… the… um… the HEAD, yeah) and MAYBE I’ve gotten wind of this dude… heck, I might even be related to him or something for all I know.
Can someone clue me in? I mean, I’ll completely forget in fifteen minutes, but hey… fifteen minutes of clarity is worth an eternity of ignorance.*
