I went looking on the site for that very thing today, andfound that the postcard rate went up to 24 cents.

You can send as many as your little heart desires. Know that kids will be so happy to look at something from somewhere else and possibly delay some spelling test or dreaded math exam.
You know, it’s a common misconception that the ‘afghan’ blanket originated in Afghanistan. It actually originated in Uzbekistan, but think about it: who’s really going to say, “Honey, can you come and bring me an oozebeck?” It’s all about the sales.
Shirley, I think I can include some local cash. Not to worry.

It was all a marketing ploy by Alexander the Great’s little brother, Mike the Somewhat Nifty.
Airman and his sister are making a side trip from Indiana (PA) to Punxsutawney, so you’ll have one from Gobbler’s Knob, too.
This is in addition to one from cow-and-Amish-intensive Central Pennsylvania.

I’ve sent the email. Will the standard shot of the Opera House suffice?

I guess you won’t be wanting any more Opera House postcards, then?
How long will this be open? I’m thinking of sending a picture of me waving in a busy area of downtown Toronto. Is that okay? And a postcard of course.

Will the Standard shot of the Opera…? OUCH
What is the deadline?
My daughter is 8. If I can talk her into writing a few lines on what a kid her age is doing at the moment would that help, or is it just geography/tourist stuff you need?
There is nothing like the tactile for interesting kids in new things. We could send a small package - a few gumleaves, some lollies you don’t have in the States (eg musk lifesavers, Binka’s jelly snakes), some Vegemite, recipe for Anzac biscuits? Maybe even if I can find it, an essential oil from a flower that didn’t make it as a perfume ingredient cos although the smell is glorious, about 10% of people can’t smell it at all! (boronia is the flower)
Will email you.
check email. I can send some money featuring 6 different languages and your favorite commie ala “Who’s Mao?”
I’m only one state away, but my town has this really big, really stupid statue of a sunfish. Kids like big stupid fish statues, so count me in.
The card is on it’s way (along with a note)!
Another question of how soon you need these? I’ve got a couple of ideas for good things to send, but won’t have a chance to sort them out until the end of the month.
I can send stuff, too. How late is too late? Mail takes a couple of weeks from Beirut to the US sometimes.
Hey, I wanted to thank you for a fun morning-- I bought a couple of postcards and then my co-workers and I had a brainstorming discussion of “fun things about Oklahoma that maybe some kids would like to know.”
I was really surprised that some of the stuff from Oklahoma History (which, at least for me, was over a decade ago) stuck with us-- and random facts from other sources, too. We even got a few of our clients to help us out, with mixed results (quite a few folks here aren’t from Oklahoma-- who’d a thunk it?).
Most fun I’ve had at work in a long time. Thanks for the inspiration!
um…a postcard from dearborn heights?
How should I adress the envelope? When I was eight year old, my aunt made my day by adressing me on a postcard as: MmlMaastricht. (Mll. is French for Mademoiselle, young lady)
So should I adress my card as: “to the kids in <Shirley’s son/daughters first name>'s class” or to Master/Miss …?
