Johnny LA scenic post card of Mt. Baker came in today. My, what legible hand writing you have! I don’t know why I am impressed with that. “Hello my Poppets!” that was really cute!
Going out to the mailbox is suddenly not a fearful chore.

E-mail sent from Helsinki, Finland.
I might not be able to limit it to just a postcard… I have so many ideas on what to send!
Hey there, I’ll be glad to send them a postcard from Iraq as I am on my second tour here.
Well I just posted the fact that I will send an Iraqi postcard, but I wanted to add that I resubscribed to the board just to get your email address so I could send a postcard =) Much doping ahead
postcard from now cold, snowy north sent.
I’m a cute guy.
Alas, I totally lack cuteness – I sent a bunch, so put them in an envelope – unwritten on. Oh well.
Plus my handwriting, though legible, isn’t strikingly so.
Sigh.
Normally I print in caps, a habit I picked up from dad who spent 20 years in the Navy and 22 years in the FAA. But I thought it would be a poor example to second-graders, so I used longhand.
WOOOOOOOOO!
Welcome back, welcome back…welcome back!
Well, the idiots at the post office sent my card back to us.
I can’t guarantee my postcard will represent my location, but I’ll send some ashes from an active volcano in Italy if you’d like.
Email sent from NZ. I’ll pick up some postcards from work tomorrow.
Email sent! I’m going into a hellish travelling path over the next few weeks; sending postcards to kids will make it all extremely fun.
Oh wait. No, it won’t. I still have to work. But I’ll send them anyhow…
A flurry of postcards came in on Friday, the biggest surprise was the one from **Sydney ** by Cunctator! (You, sir, are fast. or your postal system is.
A fastastic little package of Kansas stuff and another package from Santa Rosa!
Postcards from Memphis, Mississippi, Kansas and OKLAHOMAAAAAAA! ( which, I did not know was where the National Weather center/beaureau/whatever is located, right in Norman, OK.)
YAY and double YAY!
When does their project finish?
I can send one from South Australia, if you’ve got no representation from here yet (it seems New South Wales is very adequately covered!), but it’d take about 2 weeks to get down your way.
Ironic he should be fast, considering his username.
Not at all. The great Roman general used delaying tactics as a means of confounding his enemies. Once he had committed to an action though he was swift to strike.
**Shirley ** - Australia Post has excelled itself. I posted the card on Monday afternoon and you got it on Friday. Did the other package of stuff arrive too, or just the postcard?
Just the post card so far. You mean there is more! Woooo!
Also, I never knew your screen name was something profound. I, uh, when I have pronounced it in my head…it sounds a little dirty…I’m so embarrassed now.
Anyone who would like to get in on this Geographical Educational Post Card Extravaganza Palooza, email me . everyone’s doin’ it!
