Alas, I totally lack cuteness – I sent a bunch, so put them in an envelope – unwritten on. Oh well.
Plus my handwriting, though legible, isn’t strikingly so.

Normally I print in caps, a habit I picked up from dad who spent 20 years in the Navy and 22 years in the FAA. But I thought it would be a poor example to second-graders, so I used longhand.

Well, the idiots at the post office sent my card back to us.
I can’t guarantee my postcard will represent my location, but I’ll send some ashes from an active volcano in Italy if you’d like.

A flurry of postcards came in on Friday, the biggest surprise was the one from **Sydney ** by Cunctator! (You, sir, are fast. or your postal system is. 
A fastastic little package of Kansas stuff and another package from Santa Rosa!
Postcards from Memphis, Mississippi, Kansas and OKLAHOMAAAAAAA! ( which, I did not know was where the National Weather center/beaureau/whatever is located, right in Norman, OK.)

I can send one from South Australia, if you’ve got no representation from here yet (it seems New South Wales is very adequately covered!), but it’d take about 2 weeks to get down your way.
