I did run a search for this in the last 30 days but I came up with nothing, so I hope noone has done this already. The rhetoric that’s been flying around the last few weeks has been getting pretty heavy, IMO, & I’m just curious, why so many of the people who are advocating a war with Iraq have never foughtin a war themselves, even though the opportunity was there.
It is all very easy to stand before a hand-picked audience & thunder Iraqhasweaponsofmassdestructionandatotalitariangovernment when noone in the liberal media asks you how that came to be.
War is a frightening thing.
The men & women in the military do a dangerous & unglamorous job for a ridiculously low salary, & they deserve better than to be treated as mere tin soldiers to be pushed around on some swaggering dictator’s stratego board.
I am glad my husband is retired from the army. I fear for my stepson’s life. He is a Marine. He has honor.
