Morrison would be my choice if he were in the running, personally, but I wholly agree with you on the subject of Robert Plant. Mick Jagger has a bit of it too, but he’s always playing roles in his music, where Plant had pain down in his soul that you can hear in the lyrics. (Even in Black Dog!) It’s the combination of the way he exudes sex and the way he has a hurt that you want to make better that makes him sexy.
Well that and I want to lick my screen every time I see this.

Of the three choices, I’d say it’s pretty close between Daltrey and Plant, who I always felt resembled each other anyway. Definitely not Jagger.
I think I know what incident you’re referring to, but that’s not quite the way it happened. Daltrey and Townshend did come to blows either when recording the Quadrophenia album or rehearsing for the tour, but Townshend struck the first blow. Daltrey responded by punching him, and was reportedly horrified that this knocked Townshend out. I don’t believe Townshend’s famous nose was ever broken.
As a teenager Daltrey was a “rough and tumble Cockney” – he has a scar on his belly from a knife fight – but settled down a lot by the late '60s. By rock star standards he’s led a pretty quiet adult life. He’s been quite open about having sex with a lot of groupies in the '60s and '70s even after he married, but his wife was apparently okay with that – they’re still together after 40 years. He’s also the only member of the Who never to have a (known) drug or alcohol problem.
Nobody oozed sexuality not only from looks but through their music like Robert Plant did. Daltrey is a distant second and Mick is still prancing around pretending his guitarist isn’t his better half of the band.

The scar is from surgery he had as a child to remove a rusty nail he had swallowed. He talks about it in an interview in the Sunday Times dated May 1, 2008. I’d link to it but this is a work computer still runing (barely) on Win2000 and opening an extra window crashes the system.
I’ll keep the straight male vote unanimous in favor of Mr. Plant. Roger Daltrey is ‘prettier’, but not ‘hotter’. And Mick may be many things, but ‘hot’ is not one of them.

Daltrey was reportedly a bit of a brawler as a teenager, even if knives weren’t involved. Pete Townshend (who attended the same high school) has told stories about Daltrey’s schoolyard fights and said he fought dirty. I don’t believe the two ever fought with each other until they were actually in a band together, though!
