I prefer to think of it as sleek, streamlined, high performance. And yeah, it seemed like she was having fun now that you bring it to my attention. Certainly a watchable trait.

Yes, she was quite the hottie. But it was so shocking to see her after she fell prey to drugs that it only makes me sad to think about her.
And to whoever mentioned Bambi Woods. I remember her because DDD was my first ever hardcore experience. And our head HS cheerleader looked just like her.
I didn’t start watching porn until the mid-to-late '90s, but I remember Jeanna Fine fondly as one of my favorites from this era (the rise of the superstars like Janine Lindemulder and Jenna Jameson). Jeanna stood out in every crowd: she was older, she had that short dark hair, and she was a goddess. I don’t know what she’s been up to lately (if anything), as there is precious little information about her online, and even very few photos.
I guess I didn’t watch enough porn in the 80’s, because I don’t recognize any of these names (except for MC, of course). Anyone care to recommend me some 80’s porn viewing?

Does anybody remember a woman named Bonita in the Dirty Debs series? She was so freaking beautiful and I never saw her in anything else.
You all should read The Other Hollywood: The Uncensored Oral History of the Porn Film Industry by Legs McNeil and Jennifer Osborne. It’s a great, and appropriately depraved, book told in interview snippets by the performers and producers. Marilyn Chambers is in it.

Something from the era that I thought was pretty brilliant, not just as porn but as entertainment, was “The Devil in Miss Jones, Parts III and IV”. Lots of funny bits and truly outrageous sex. The star is another actress who deserves to be mentioned here, Lois Ayres, who was hot and always seemed like she was capable of any depravity.
Another vote for Heather Hunter.
