Who was your favorite Angel?

When I was about 10 or 11 a new family moved into our neighborhood. The daughter was my age and very pretty. The mom was about ten years younger than any of my other friend’s moms and super pretty. At the time I thought Mom was the spitting image of Marlo Thomas, even having the That Girl flippy hairdo. Later on, when CA came out, I realized she was actually much more Kate Jackson.
I crushed super hard on mother and daughter and in many ways, they shaped my preferences in women to this day. Pretty, raspy voiced brunettes!
For me…Kate Jackson in a landslide.

Metatron.

Cheryl Ladd. I never saw one episode of Charlie’s Angels; but the answer to most questions is Cheryl Ladd.

Can I vote for Farrah’s hair?

If you think Ryan O’Neal won’t mind.

I always liked Edward Everett Horton.

Rod Carew.

Of the Charlie’s Angels, Cheryl Ladd. Farrah was way too much hair, Kate had the voice of Satan, Jacklyn just didn’t push my buttons for some reason.

Another one for Kate Jackson here.

Nolan Ryan. 383 strikeouts in a season, that’s just incredible.

Poor Shelley Hack.

Who?

I have the same question about Tanya Roberts, by the way.

Andre Braugher. (Not Nick Cage!)

Of Charlie’s, Farrah, of course. Angels were about looks. Kate Jackson, fine actress that she is (and despite how she was the “smart” angel) she wasn’t “enough” to be in the show.

And again, even though I watched every episode when it was new, I think that is the stupidest premise for a crime show. Charlie was a frikken coward, hiding behind the skirts of little girls. Does James Bond hide his identity? Fuck no! He’s all “I’m Bond. James Bond. (And I dare you to do anything about it.”) Charlie can’t be seen in public. Remington Steele was a more competent boss.

My ranking of the Angels:

  1. Kelly Garrett (Jaclyn Smith)
  2. Julie Rogers (Tanya Roberts)
  3. Tiffany Welles (Shelley Hack)
  4. Jill Munroe (Farrah Fawcett-Majors)
  5. Kris Munroe (Cheryl Ladd)
  6. Sabrina Duncan (Kate Jackson)

Valtiel.

I voted for Kate Jackson – she has always been my favorite!

I loved 'em all, though…

One of the very few pinup-type posters I had in my room growing up was of Cheryl Ladd.

That’s like gettin’ a Shemp.

All this time I thought I’d be in the minority with my crush on Kate Jackson over Farrah, all tits and hair and ditziness, and the smoky sensuality of Jacklyn Smith.

I used to watch that show all the time, during the period in my life when I discovered girls, and women, and began forming preferences that have lasted me to the ripe old age of 47. Kate was cute, had a nice figure, had brains, was realistic and reasonable and practical… much like the woman I ended up marrying.

Oooh, Kate, you minx. I bet that calm, pixie demeanor was hiding a wildcat.

Angel Juarbe. May he rest in peace. :frowning:

Of Charlie’s Angels, though, I was a Smith girl. But, I did want Farrah’s hair. Sigh.

I was gonna say Lucifer, then Islington then…
Well, then I discovered the real subject matter.

So I voted for Jackson when I meant Smith.
Or was it the other way around?
The long wavy-haired brunette (rather than the short straight-haired brunette).
