Speaking of VH1 shows, I’d say all the girls on Rock of Love 2 should get some sort of honorable mention. I can’t remember who, but in one of the early episodes, they had to put on a talent show for Bret. One ofthe girls stood on the stage with a huge white board and a marker and wrote Will You Merry Me?. That was the entirety of her talent.

I knew we were in for a treat in the first episode when she started talking about her ex-boyfriend.

I’m only familiar with the show through clips on The Soup. That one chick’s laugh reminds me of the generic surfer from SpongeBob Squarepants.
The great thing is that I wouldn’t have even known she existed if she hadn’t said that ridiculous crap. I surely don’t watch The View.
And in a way, that makes her the absolute best nominee - it’s possible that more people know who she is because she says such unbelievably stupid things, than know who she is because of her show.

Also, I don’t understand how people can do this. My roommate’s girlfriend watches VH-1 reality shows half the day and I get driven back to my room after maybe a five minute conversation in which those shows are just background noise. That people can sit there and watch “YOU MUTHABEEP, I’ll BEEP your BEEP into your BEEP” with subtle variations on that sentence screamed by five different people at once, no less, and not manage to shoot themselves is… well, I don’t know what it is, but it’s something!

Oh, “The Most Stupid Audience” is a whole separate category. They get the same statuette at the awards ceremony though. But the Academy of Moving Picture Dunce and Dumbasses takes a really long time storing through the vast number of potential nominees.

I withdraw my original assertion. Anne Coulter is in fact a very intelligent woman who says breaktakingly stupid things in televsion.
Julie Chen, from the CBS Morning Show. Dumber than a bag of hammers, that one. Maybe not the dumbest on TV, but close enough. When interviewing, she just asks the next question on the list, regardless if it has already been answered or not. Also a student of the “how did that make you feel?” school of journalism.
