The chorus I guess, pretty much the whole thing except for the breaks. You have to look past the electronic vs. rock element. You can mash the 2 together if you changes the tempos because the chords and key are identical.
My solution was to cut off the plug from an old pair of headphones and insert it into the headphone/output jack on the PC I am setting up. That automatically mutes the internal speaker.
I had to recover my Win XP box and heard the post-installation welcome music (title.wma) again. So I’m not alone in liking this song–nice to know. In other sites, someone claims Suzanne Ciani, but I can’t find any confirmed report or claim of credit on her web site.
@DSWIII- found Blue Star Linoleum and love it! and the chord structure indeed is similar or even the same, but my guess is that there are enough differences. Perhaps no one is taking credit and wishes to remain anonymous?
Mods please don’t stake this zombie, which by rights is your SOP. Somebody come up with something intelligent to add, so a good thread doesn’t have of a padlock, which messes up having a centralized source of good sequential GQ responses and challenges.
I’ve been trying to find where I saw it. I’m fairly sure it was in PC Magazine or Windows magazine. PC Magazine is well indexed in Google Books, but Windows magazine is not archived. People have this idea that everything is on the web, but most information is not. And at this point, most of the references seem to go back to my post.
