I remember the time I stood one guy up for…a “date at the IMAX”. I knew which movie we were going to see, and I’d seen it before, several times. Instead, I went out with another guy and he…took me to the “discount dollar theater”. On fifty cent night.
And I could have sworn it was the same movie playing, anyway.
In my (somewhat limited) experience, guys don’t usually care much about the size of the boobs if they are actually in his face and he gets to play with them.
Penis size? Eh…too big would be bad. Otherwise, they’re great.
I agree. Some screens are just too big, and some are just too small. The trick is a screen that’s big enough provide an enjoyable viewing experience, but not so big that it hurts your, em, eyes. Mm.
Yeah ok “up to a point” and that point, for me, is about 7 inches. More than that and it GODDAMN HURTS so please GET THAT THING AWAY FROM ME!!!
Seriously. I would not have sex with a guy with a big penis. I don’t want smaller than average either, but average is average for a reason–it’s the ideal size.
I’ll try to translate what my wife told me into the current analogy.
IMAX films are usually boring; after you get past the “wow that’s big” part, you notice that the film isn’t really all that exciting, and that the makers seem to be relying on screen size without much thought to the content.
iPods are just not what you need to watch movies; you can’t really get a feel for
the plot, and the action is too imperceptible to be entertaining.
What’s really entertaining is a regulation-size movie screen playing an epic, yet fast-paced thriller with a lot of plot twists and turns and an intense climax. This is the kind of movie you don’t wait till it comes out as a rental to see.
:o Heheheh, the analogy part was mine, what she told me was…
Eh, you get the “picture”…
And The Weird One, you’re right about that. I guess that’s where the analogy breaks down a bit. Renting the video allows you to watch the movie as many times as you like, as well. Actually, the whole “rental” thing doesn’t quite work, either. :dubious:
I guess now might not be the time to bring up the eternal “She says she wants to snuggle and watch the smart romantic comedy on TV, but when it’s time for the late feature, she prefers the big budget, action-packed adventure” thing.
