Well, I didn’t necessarily recruit her, but Papaveraceae had heard enough about The Dope that she was curious enough to join.

A few of my friends read this message board often, and one joined on a guest membership for a while. I forget her username though…shrugs Anyway, I dunno if they will subscribe, but they sure do enjoy reading it!
I recruited Huggybear, although he has only about 3 posts, he has been to almost every DopeFest I have ever been to (including NYDope, Central PA Dope, Dope-A-Ween, all the MAD events, etc)! So I guess you could say he’s more of an IRL Doper.

My husband, Brainiac4, joined back when I first did. He introduced me to the books, I introduced him to the board. But he had all of six posts before going subscription, plus some occational lurking. Than he subscribed. I think the “free internet” ravings were getting to him.
I seldom bump into him here though. He is currently very busy playing City of Heros with the Doper crowd there.
My friend, Heppie. I got her to join but she says she’ll post when she has something to say. 
In my short tenure, I’ve managed to suck in OhFace and Darkness.
