Whom have you voted for?

I know, it’s a secret ballot, so please don’t participate if this is an important principle to you (but please don’t participate selectively–i.e., “in 1976, I want my ballot kept secret but in 1980, 1984, and 1988 I’ll happily tell, but then in 1992…”) Just answer if you’re ok revealing this information, and don’t reply to this this thread if you don’t.

Presidential ballots only, please. Me:

2004 Kerry
2000 Nader
1996 no one
1992 no one
1988 Dukakis
1984 Mondale
1980 Carter
1976 no one
1972 McGovern
I think that’s accurate, though I’m not entirely sure about 1996. I think I’ve been telling the truth when I say that I have literally never voted for a winning candidate for president (I had the flu in 1976, and I was homeless in 1992). I think in 1996 I just refrained because Clinton pissed me off and I sure wasn’t going to vote for Dole.

That’s a scary thought, that I may cast my first winning ballot next month–scary for Obama, that is.

Anyway, you’re up.

I haven’t voted for a winner either:
1996: Perot
2000: Gore
2004: Kerry

I’ve already [thread=487292]voted for Obama[/thread], so my fingers are crossed.

2004: Kerry
2000: Gore
1996: Nader (yep, 4 years before it was cool)
1992: Clinton
1988: Bush

2008: Obama. That’s it.

1986 Dukakis
1992 Clinton
1996 L. Neil Smith
2000 L. Neil Smith
2004 Bush
2008 McCain

I’m still a small “l” libertarian, but 2004 and this year I disliked the democratic candidate so much I wasn’t willing to risk giving my vote to a third party and indirectly helping the democratic candidate out.

1984: Reagan and shortly after I joined his Navy.
1988: Bush in the primaries but then he added Quayle and I voted for “Bill the Cat” and I left the Navy shortly after.
1992: a 4th party candidate. I think the Libertarian.
1996: Bill Clinton (He was doing a very good job and I did not mine voting Dem.)
2000: Ralph Nader
2004: Kerry though I despise him.
2008: McCain in the Primary and then I register Independent for the future and I will be voting Obama shortly and have contributed to his campaign. I am looking forward to this vote as much as my vote for Reagan. It has been quite a while since I was actually enthused about a candidate and better yet I don’t hate his opponent. Refreshing. Too bad about Palin though. She’s worse than Quayle.

2008 - Obama
2004 - Kerry
2000 - Gore
1996 - Clinton
1992 - Clinton

I was too young to vote in 84, but old enough to buy a “Reagan Sucks” t shirt.

Interesting choices.

For me:

2000: Bush (If I had it to do over, I’d vote Gore)
2004: Kerry
2008: Not voting.

Pssst: correct grammar is, ‘For whom have you voted?’

At the last election - a council election - I voted Lib-Dem.

2004 Kerry
2000 - did not vote
1996 Clinton
1992 Clinton (not positive)
1988 Dukakis

2008: Obama - early voter
2004: Kerry
2000: Nader
1996: Clinton
1992: Clinton
1988: Bush
1984: Mondale
