Mostly just me celebrating, but I just heard from my boss from last summer, who had strung me along for literally months with “Maybe we’ll have money to pay you,” and who I had given up on. But no, I hear from him the other night, and now it’s confirmed; I have a summer job!
Housing, travel expenses and even a raise over last year’s (hourly, which is huge in this industry of 60+ hour weeks) wage, appleciders is employed! Whooohoo!
Anyone else crowing over getting a job in this lousy economy?
