OK, I have been able to face the facts. I’m pretty unknown around here. I don’t post very often, and when I do, it is often mundane and pointless and goes unnoticed. I sometimes chat at #straightdope. But when I go there, most of the people chatting also don’t know who the heck I am.
However, when I go to my photopoint web site, I notice that my Dopefest picture count is up to over 3500 views. No disrespect meant to you Dopers, but my friends and family who access my site have no interest in seeing these pictures of Mr Cynical, Fugazi, and me getting drunk. So, I am assuming someone (s) has been looking at my pictures more than just once.
So, make me feel good. Let me know who you are, so I know that I am not completely ignored in this joint. I guess I’m feeling lonely and need some validation. Your cooperation is appreciated!
I definitely know who you are, monster. I know that doesn’t count for much, but I thought I’d let you know. I know that sometimes you see the regulars that everyone knows and you feel a little left-out (I feel the same way a lot of times). But I think that a lot of people know you and value you as a poster.
And yeah, I’ve checked out your pics a couple of times. Not religiously or anything! Whew, covered my ass there, I mean…
monster, I know who you are! When I see your name (after I realize it’s you and not Monster_104) I always picture that happy picture of you and your son, and think “She seems like a really sweet person!”
Does your counter tell you where your hits originate? Your page is linked on The People Pages, so that could be why you’re getting so many hits. And of course people want to check you out! You’re adorable - how could they not?!!

Don’t feel that just because you don’t post 30 times a day you are unnoticed. I know who you are, as do a lot of others, as evidenced by the responses here. Your name is one of the ones I recognize from when I first got here, and I remember your picture because (I think) it was in that very first batch that went up on the People Pages. I think a lot of us feel like we are invisible here sometimes, especially those of us who don’t dive into every flirt-fest and post party that comes along. But I’ve enjoyed reading your posts over the months, so they couldn’t have been that mundane and pointless. Of course, I am easily entertained…
