Only about 10 inches fell, but it drifted. Fucking wind.
We’re snowed in until thaw or until someone can think of a really good reason Giant freakin marine should go out in the cold to start the tractor.
(What? There is NO reason good enough for me to do it. Our tractor is surly and I’m a pansy.)
I accidentally got trapped in Vancouver, BC. I’m not sure when/if I’m going to be able to head south.
I’ll be snowed in tomorrow, but I was scheduled to get Monday off anyway. Whether I’ll be able to go to work on Tuesday is another matter.
We had snow days on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and Monday is another snow day. It’s like a vacation! (except for the shovelling)
Not too bad here on Friday, but Saturday we really got walloped - of course the start of my work week is Saturday, and I work at a 24 hour mental health ward, so we NEVER close for weather. I’ve now been here for 29 hours, and I’m HOPING to leave at 730 this morning, which will be about 36 hours…
…except they’re calling for another 3-6 inches tonight, so I may be here for another day or so. (I can get out in the company van - which has chains, but my vehicle is a two wheel drive pickup - no chains. I guess I could have someone else drive me home in the company van, but it’s kind of hard to do that and have enough staff on the floor at the same time).
