That’s Paul Lynde, MORON!

That’s Paul Lynde, MORON!

I did not recognize Jesse James at first and I’ve seen him a lot before.
Thank you for asking this, Serenata67! It’s been bugging me too.
I should have recognized Phil Jackson. Jesse James, not so much. I knew his name, and that he was married to Sandra Bullock, but didn’t know what he looked like.
That is tragic…
I only know Whoopi from Star Trek. Has she done anything else?
…TRM
Jesse was on The Apprentice?!?!? And the Donald still walks among us?!?!?
Surely he beat him to a pulp and the whole thing was covered up…
The Coach would’ve fired The Donald with a barely-interested glare.
I only recognized Whoopi but figured the other two were supposed to be minor celebs of some sort.
See, I thought Phil Jackson was Tom Selleck, and the beach scene was Hawaii.

What I can’t figure out is why they didn’t get Bud Cort for this commercial.
Have you seen him lately? Ruth Gordon would be as good a choice.
I’m just surprised Cat’s licensing his music to I-Phone.
I couldn’t believe that either. Even he needs to eat, I guess.
More surprising: he and Dolly Parton are friends. I doubt it’s the “call me at 3 a.m. just to chat” variety, but they’ve been photographed in London and seem to have bonded when she recorded Peace Train a few years back. Can you think of an odder twosome?
(sullen) I like Bud Cort, despite “Harold and Maude,” which required a recasting of “Maude” to be interesting.
Funny, I thought Whoopi was Selleck. Never could tell those two apart.
This is almost verbatim the exchange I had with my wife.
Me: Who the hell is that guy?
Wife: I have no idea. Weird they would put him in there with Whoope and Jesse James.
Me:
Jesse who?
I didn’t know either one of them, at least by sight. Now that I know who they are I recognize their names. I don’t follow sports so even though I’m a (former) life-long Chicagoan I wouldn’t know Phil Jackson by sight, having only seen him in passing on the news. And I vaguely remember seeing commercials for some show that Jesse James was on, and the name stuck in my mind because it was the same as the old outlaw. I had no idea he was married to Sandra Bullock, though, since I wasn’t invited to the wedding (probably something to do with that restraining order).
I just find it amusing that I knew exactly what the OP would be based on the title!
I suspect Phil Jackson would be the #1 answer to a Feud question: “Name a professional basketball coach.” (Leave out the word “professional” and Bobby Knight might well beat him.)
