My ex-wife just reminded me of one. We had a friend visiting from out of town and Richard Gere came by and picked her up for a date. This was about 1980 or earlier and neither of us had ever heard of him at that time. He came in and sat down and from what I remember was pleaseant.
That reminds me, as well…my cousin (who was also my best friend when we were kids) dated Brooke Shields a couple of times while they were both students at Princeton.
