Who's to blame if Biden loses?

The reason why I don’t agree with this is that there’s no plan in place to get things on track. I just don’t think the DNC is blameless if Biden loses.

And they should feel awful.

All fingers must point to Mitch McConnell. Trump should have been convicted in the Senate. McConnell stacked federal courts with drones like Aileen Cannon. McConnell packed SCOTUS, which is slow-walking Trump decisions.

Everything points to McConnell.

Speaking of voting for who we want you to because rights…

Yep. And even when I point out that I live in California, a solid blue state that Biden is guaranteed to win, it still doesn’t lessen the vitriol against me. I must vote for Biden no matter what the situation or I’ll be sent to the gulag (metaphorically).

This is my point. What’s the plan after Trump wins?

Do you think they are still salty over all of the protest votes for Nader that cost Gore the election in 2000? That’s why people like you and me are worse than Hitler?

I’m not sure how they should protest. Should it be on them to have to do so?

I think so, at least that is when I remember all this starting. I wasn’t even able to vote then but I remember all the hate against anybody voting for Nader, especially in Florida where I grew up. Hilary losing in 2016 also didn’t help things as they blamed us even though once again, it was due to our antiquated Electoral College.

Can either of you two answer my question on what the plan is once Trump wins?

Who are you talking to? Me and Boudicca90?

Yup. I don’t expect to reach everyone that could have been reached if the DNC was competent and not gasslighting us, but What’s going to happen when Trump wins? What’s the plan?

Blaming Biden for not earning my vote so my single solitary Coloradan vote would have won him re-election and also petitioning Kellogg’s to bring back Product 19.

That’s quite the plan.

For me personally, I plan to protest and fight back as much as possible. My DSA chapter is already discussing potential plans of action. Our biggest advantage is that Trump is a moron who tends to surround himself with incompetent sycophants, so he is not often successful in his plans.

Maybe I’ll change my protest vote from Harris to Product 19.

Honestly the strongest protest vote would be to vote for Trump. That’s the most effective way to punish Democrats or the other people being too mean to you.

As a tactic, the left splitting off has never worked, ever. Team R wins and implements conservative stuff. Yeah, it’s failed every time, but they’ll “learn a lesson” this time. You’re going to get someone else who has to play to the center to reverse all of the conservative crap. That’s what you got every single other time. Maybe try learning from history?

Yup, I already said if Biden loses then the DNC will see it as a clear sign that the Democratic party needs to move further to the right because that’s where the country actually is.

I agree. It’s unfortunate Biden aided this catastrophe. Then people wouldn’t be protesting to save women and children.

I think people conflate ways to change.

Not voting for Biden is an act that, depending on your location, will either have no effect at all or a significant effect. For most Americans, it’s no effect.

There are other ways to voice dissatisfaction with the status quo, and to push for change. Unfortunately, NONE of them are effective without at least a million friends, whether human friends or dollar friends. There’s just not a damn thing an individual can do in a system this large, short of making this their full-time job; most of us don’t have the time, money, energy, ability, etc. for that.

Voting is one way to demonstrate your solidarity with that many friends. Here, though, the scale isn’t one million friends necessary, but one hundred million. None of the third parties are in that league.
