Whos your favorite super hero?

Superman for me. I’ve always been fond of the Justice Society heroes too.

I’ve always liked Daredevil, Swamp Thing and Spider Man. Regular guys with strange events happening to them, which make them stronger. Daredevil made himself into a superhero. What a role model!

Spider-Man is definitly one of the coolest. Can you imagine how easy gym credits would be to get with those powers? I want his powers.

[hijack] By the way, why hasn’t Magneto taken down Iron Man yet? [/hijack]

…Ironman either has de-magnetized his armor through some do-hickey… Or If memory serves his armor actually doesn’t include any real metals anymore (I seem to recall an issue of Avengers West Coast where he and Magneto discussed this)

and in a related note… My favorite superhero:

Quicksilver… One of the original Mutant villains, one of the second roster of Avengers. Part of one of the most powerful families in the Marvel universe (Magneto-father, Scarlet Witch-sister). Arrogant, racist/specist. A million times more compelling as a hero (when written correctly of course) than any other speedster.

He’s great.

Superman. Always.

As I said best in this thread–

I’m proud of what may have been the best thing I ever said on this Board.

Fighting for Truth, Justice, and Peace for all Mankind!

How could you not like The Superfriends? One-stop shopping for all your superhero needs.

Spaceghost, of course. I even watched his cartoons before he became a talkshow host

Nitpick: Wolverine’s claws go “snikt”, not “snick”. Just like Nightcrawler goes “Bamf!” when he teleports, not “Bam!” as a friend once claimed.

Anyway, Batman’s definitely the coolest. Not the most powerful, but definitely the coolest. Plus, doesn’t he keep detailed files on every superhero and villain in the world, making sure he has specific plans on how to kill them if necessary?

Aquaman. Ah, how I envy him. No need for tanks, regulators or masks. Never worries about nitrogen narcosis or decompression sickness. As deep as he wants as long as he wants. Every divers favorite superhero.

But that “communicating with fish” thing…meh. What’s a fish got to say?

Batman. Impulse. Secret. Jesse Custer. Adam Destine. And Pete Wisdom.

I always thought Namor had it all up on Aquaman, but neither one makes my top ten.

Superman bites.

My top three in this order:

Wolverine
Batman
Black Orchid (any Gaiman fans out there?)

It is questionable if he qualifies for the hero part as well.

As for my favorite, I think I have to go with Invisible Kid of the LSH.

You know that he says ‘BAMF!’? But…but…nobody knows what I’m talking about when I say ‘BAMF!’ You are now my hero.

Spiderman- since I was a little kid.

Batman- when the great graphic novels came out.

The Tick- just because. The instant The Tick animated series comes out on DVD. . . . Spoooooooooooooon!

I would have to say:

  1. Lobo (most probably don’t count him as a hero).

  2. The Tick…he rules baby!

Black Orchid debuted in Adventure Comics in the early 1970s… well before Gaiman was writing for DC.

…but Neil Gaiman had the best take on the character.
So phooey!

…oh man am I going to get banned again for saying “phooey”?

The Phantom Stranger

spooky-spooky, and a sharp dresser…
