There is a new poster (that’s the pot calling the kettle black, which is a bad pun considering what I am about to say) called M2Lepton.
M2Lepton has 3 posts at this point, and according to his profile, he registered today, March 14.
He started a thread called “why do black people like chicken.” He started a thread about adult film stars, claiming to be an adult film director. His third post is just an annoying remark about sex in another thread which happens to be about sex.
If he turns out to be a genuine troll, do I get a prize for spotting him first?
I’d say dismissing factual evidence that is contrary to your opinion counts as a decline in your argumentative style, but we can pick this up again in another thread…

My perspective is that while John John did some troll-type posting, I don’t consider him a troll for the reasons I gave, above. In most of the truly horrible threads that he began, he really believed the jist of his rantings. He really does hate Ms. Clinton, personally. He really feels a need to rant about the “phoniness” of the “Marry a Millionaire” woman. He really does have a personal hang-up regarding Judaism that causes him to interrupt other threads to “challenge” Jews.
Unlike a troll, who will post anything for the purpose of getting people riled up, John actually wanted people to support his positions. (yeeesh)
Others who define trolling as any persistent idiocy may label him a troll. I would not, simply based on his sincerity. (Of course, while his sincerity will protect him from my calling him a troll, his narrow views of the world, his utter failure to read with comprehension, his general brutish behavior when he met with criticism, and his overall unpleasant demeanor towards a fairly large number of people simply because they were not like him earned him quite a few other epithets, few of which are utterable in even coarse company.)

If he was responding to something in another thread, he could have pointed it out, and responded calmly, or else started a new thread in Pit and respond as he saw fit.
I’m not sure if this was before your time, but KO was previously known to us as Contestant #3. And no, he doesn’t seem to have that great of an understanding of proof. Or I guess he has different standards than the rest of us.

I never said I was smarter/wiser/more astute/better informed than anyone. Well, I probably did, but I probably didn’t mean it. Well, I probably meant it, but probably not anymore. Well, maybe I still do, but it would have to depend on the person. Well, it looks like we’re just going to have to take this on a case by case basis.

its a simple matter, really. some people have difficulties comprehending just that. perhaps im one of them, but i know it isnt intentional. perhaps i or persons judging lack comprehension on the given judged subject, or perhaps the subject wasnt explained enough. no matter what, people arent judged that often for their actions here. its just that occational case. which, if given patience from both parties will be solved without unfair judgement from anyone.
basically people should never be judged, only be made to realize that other people have perhaps different view on the subject than they have. those other people in return have to realize that any person can have a different view than they themselves have. thus accepting it as truth, but NOT neccesserally adopt it as their own view. for different views can lead to the same truth, therefore both be valid in their own respect. this is true for subject that do not have fixed facts, not for historical events(debatable) and actions(varies by action).
seeing that there is no absolute truth, people must live to accept the views of other people without judging them wrong, thus we can all have a different view on a given subject. time is the only judge that matters. someone called it “the survival of the fittest”, but ive heard people argue about that as well. so just consider this a thought, not fact.
