I just saw in the “Who’s Who” thread that Rousseau is 17. I am stunned.

Esprix, you have a nasty habit that’s beginning to grate on my nerves. Instead of starting a new Pit thread about it and drawing everyone’s attention, I’ll just address it here (and, as you will see, it’s appropriate).
Why in tarnation do you keep resurrecting these threads that you started? Every time one of your threads falls off the page, you make some pointless post to move it back up to the top. Why? Is it an attention thing? What gives?

Like in those drug threads, I kept expecting to hear “back in my day teenagers were more civil to their elders.”
Or maybe he meant something else entirely. I don’t really know.
(Oh, and if you have a complaint about him resurrecting old posts, why don’t you create a topic about it, rather than replying in those old posts, essentially doing the same thing that he is doing.)

I pegged you for a much older, jaded person - 17 never even crossed my mind. I suppose I’m used to younger people being more open-minded. I find it sad that someone so young can be so intelligent and so ignorant at the same time. Perhaps you’ll change for the better as you get older.

The Urge/OgreFade ranks as the one poster here in my short time on these boards that really annoyed me. I don’t really know why. I think it was the whole martyr act, plus the convoluted logic he was applying to make his case, whatever the fuck it might have been. Plus the fact that he resurrected the same bitching in response to every minor criticism directed at him. He kept making veiled threats along the lines of “what if I was seriously depressed and committed suicide over this?” or “what if I got pissed off and spammed the SDMB from 5000 email addresses?”
Some people are thin skinned and overreact to criticism (remember Kellibelli?), but that’s the way they are and I can deal with that. UrgeBoy plastered his thin-skinnedness all over the place, in the process insulting the regs here repeatedly. He refused to let any comment about him simply die. He assigned reasons such as ageism as people’s motives for criticizing him (I’m two years older than he). Plus he broke the rules, and when caught, tried to claim that he had purposely made it easy for us to catch him.
In short, he pissed me off.
