It looks like pretty much everyone has returned (and I read on Wikipedia that Chip and Greg will be back as well). It’s looks like more of a “stage” show than WLIA but they’re doing a lot of the same games.
I’ve been STOKED for this! Can’t wait!
GSN isn’t in HD?
Stupid Comcast!
Oh well…it’s on to record. I’m glad to see Drew Carey is doing what he does best and getting back to his roots so to speak.
Phooey. This might be enough to get me to cough up for cable.
Apparently everybody’s favorite tiger-blooded Vatican ninja assassin, Charlie Sheen, is going to be on it tomorrow night. I’m not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.
Looking forward to the show in general, though!
I’m curious as to when that episode was filmed.
Hurray! I’m definitely going to be watching if I have that channel.
Wow, we don’t get that channel anymore. Weird.
I’ll have to find a way to watch, though; I loved Whose line.
January. My understanding is that he wasn’t a scheduled performer or anything, he just got up on stage because he felt like it.
Where did you hear this?
And how is the show so far?
this is a disgrace to the former good name of Game Show Network
it’s because of stuff like this and all their other crap original programming that there isn’t room for Press Your Luck anymore
lol wut.
Man I’m totally stoked for this. I don’t think my Japanese provider gets that channel though… what to do?
The first episode was a bit on the lackluster side, i’d say. There were a few laughs, but a lot of the sketches just sort of fell flat. Drew Carey has REALLY let himself go in the past decade or so.
Colin’s gotten OLD!
I have to wholeheartedly disagree. I thought it was hilarious, I laughed hard and often. Pretty much anything they did that didn’t involve music (I was never a fan of the songs anyway…although I GREATLY respect anyone who can do it) had me laughing. I loved it.
Also…how do you mean he “let himself go”? He’s lost a TON of weight and aside from growing out his hair and the blonde thing…I want to say he looks better than ever.
ITA w/T-cups! Drew looks GREAT!
Really needs to be an hourlong, if they’re going to have that many performers. The drunk lady in “Moving People” had me rolling.
I’ll see your drunk lady and raise you the not drunk lady.
“And she’s the drunk one?!?!”
PSXer is on record as wanting the Game Show Network to be exclusively game shows. I think he’s afraid what happened to MTV, the History Channel, TLC, etc. will eventually happen to it.
So far, I’ve always been able to find at least the premiere of a show online somewhere. Though I am considering having someone I know who has cable record it for me, just in case.
And, if it’s anything like Whose Line, it will at least have points…
…but the points won’t matter.
As far as original programming goes, I don’t mind something like this. I’m just getting sick of how many poker shows they’re running. Poker is boring. It’s fun to play, but it’s boring to watch. Moar game shows, dammit!
