Umm I am hoping someone else has this problem, I am checking my email and I see that I am getting alot of emails from what appears to be people from the straight dope asking me to remove them from a mailing list… I am not sure why this is happening, My only clue that this is coming from the straight dope is because alot of the user names are similar Like myfootszzz and rysdad and fairyprincess, which are all names here, so I assume this is where it is coming from, I have like 155 emails from people asking me to remove them from a mailing list I know nothing about- is this coming from the straight dope, can someone help me out?
Does it have anything to do with the music spammers?
Yes It does, I just read the thread about it a minute ago, that was really not cool, even though 155 emails all in the same day was the most I have ever had 
That was so not cool. I never got any. 
But I can imagine that it would make people who did get them feel very frustrated, at the very least.
