Why are there so many corn threads today?

CORN?

Inside joke that you’re late to and thus are never allowed to know the answer.

Is sad, really. If **Saffer **only knew a kernel of truth about the situation…

The real puzzler is why there are ordinarily so few corn threads.

I suggest you put your ear to the ground.

Just an FYI to those of you who are tied to your ball-and-chain computers: Those of us who browse the forums from Tapatalk never saw the change in forum names.

Wow, didn’t know that. Bummer.

I’ll pass that on to our Tapatalk guy, see if we need an upgrade/reset, whatever.

The Internet is for corn!

Con-Agra became sentient on this date.

Very ear-ry.

Please, please, please, I was busy entertaining my 1.5 year old nephew. (He was “walking” around in my shoes and coat, rubbing my keys on the doorknob etc, he’s so cute!) Screen shots? Please? Please??

Next year, log in early on April Fools–that way you’ll have polenta of time to join in the fun with a minimum of tassle.

No stalk-ing though.

It’s a feature not a bugTM.

It’s likely that the Tapatalk app on your phone cached the forum names and therefore didn’t refresh when the SDMB renamed the forums. There’s an option under Tapatalk settings (Settings > Auto Refresh > Cache Forums) which is OFF by default, but you might have set it to ON at some point in the past. ON is actually the more efficient setting on a phone, given that forum names rarely change, but then you miss out on fun like this.

If that’s not it, update to the latest version of the Tapatalk client. The SDMB has the latest version of the server plugin installed, and I just tested a forum name change and it refreshes correctly in Tapatalk on my iPhone.

My cache forums is set to OFF. I notice there is a clear cache button but I didn’t try it because I thought the forum renaming was confusing and I kept clicking on the wrong ones. After a while that got really frustrating so I actually preferred reading exclusively via tapatalk during the gag.
